Lucky Lenny | Fish Story With Moral
There was a pond in the middle of a dense forest. All kinds of aquatic species such as fish, crabs and frogs lived happily ever after.
Among them were two beautiful fishes, Ariel and Crystal. They were larger than the other fish in the pond. They both were very proud of their beautiful appearance and intellect.
In the same pond a frog named Lenny lived with his wife. There was a good friendship between fishes and frogs. They lived well without any conflict.
One day, two fishermen were fishing in a river in the forest when they came across the pond. As usual, all the fishes and frogs were playing.
Ariel, Crystal, Lenny and others participated in the game. They jumped out of the pool and chased each other and played. Both fishermen were amazed to see that beautiful scene.
They stood there and enjoyed the scene. “How beautiful they are!” said one.
“Yes. Did you see how many types of fishes there are?” said the other.
One first fisherman asked, “Does thispond look shallow? Can we catchsome fish?” he asked.
“It simply came to their notice then. Apart from that we have to go a long distance away by carrying heavy loads. We can come here tomorrow.”
The two left the place. Lenny, the frog asked the other frogs and fishes “Did those fishermen’s conversation fall on your ears?. We can leave this pool and go to another safe place.”
“Should we run away from our place because someone said that they will come here tomorrow and catch us? Don’t we know that they will not even come here tomorrow?.” Ariel continued, “I have a thousand ways to escape even if they come to catch us!”
“We must not allow those two fishermen to catch us out of our place,” said Crystal. Everyone else in the pool accepted it.
“Good. I know one trick, the fact must be taken into account.” Lenny moved from the pool with his wife in search of a safe place.
All the fishes, frogs and crabs laughed mockingly and watched them go. The fishermen who came there the next day threw a big net into the pond.
They all got caught in the net. “Oh, this net is too thick to bite,” Ariel shouted sadly. I couldn’t escape fromthis! Crystal regretted it.
Another fish said sadly that,”we shouldhave listened to the advice ofLenny and his wife.” The Fishermen caught all fishes, crabs, and frogs and carried them in large baskets.
Hiding behind a large stone, Lenny told his wife nearby, “If I hadn’ttaken that decision at the right time,we would have been in the basket bynow.”
Justice: It is better to save before it comes.
