The Starfish and Chittu’s Dream
One day, Chittu the sparrow was flying along the
seashore and saw a Starfish washed up on the sand,
struggling to breathe.
Chittu tried to pick it up with its tiny beak to put it back
in the ocean. A big crab nearby laughed and said,
“There are thousands of starfish washed up here. What
difference does it make if you save just one?”
Chittu quietly threw the starfish back into the waves
and replied, “I may not change everything, but for
that one starfish, the whole world has changed!”
Moral: Even a small act of kindness can change
someone’s world.
